Right now I am the lone BG artist. We may or may not add another BG artist for a while.

Anyways, this is impressive, I never even thought about the fact that you could make BG with that kind of process... I have to say, your way of thinking makes me impressed, and you say that the final product will be better, just how?

Was thinking about asking how backgrounds were going a while back. It's the type of job that doesn't always get enough credit, backgrounds seem boring compared to characters but they're a major part of the visual design, the visual design is a major influence on the feel of the entire game, and there's many different ways to approach them. Looking great so far.

Believe me, that process takes alot of work and effort... I know since I have worked with AutoCAD, Google Sketchup and some other 3d rendering programs...
