I just threw out that idea, as I thought that was a better alternative than necroing old threads instead of posting that message in many threads :/

Tread lightly, TLM. Ala just got off probation. He's got a crazy look in his eyes - like he might do something he'll regret.

Re: Introduce yourselves Fans!
Hello everyone.
Weeeeeeell I found out about this VN in the Katawa Shoujou subreddit. Wow who would have guessed ? This is clearly a mystery worth investigating ! So at first I my doubts yeah, because physical disabilities are a hard subject but mental illness ? Damn that can be awesome or it can go flat pretty fast. D:
As a Malkavian player from the old vampire the masquerade RPG of course you guys have picked my interrest. Aaaaaaaaaand of course when I saw Isolda and Jeanette my reaction was of course classy as hell : "Oh putain de bordel de merde il y a deux françaises c'est trop génial !" (Holy fuc**** sh** two french grils that's awesome !).
So now I shall lurk in the shadow with my croissant, waiting and droping messages as the story reveal itself to us. >:3

Re: Introduce yourselves Fans!
Welcome to our humble abode, Hastein!
Please make sure to follow our 100% fair and lenient rules and to read our FAQ, if you haven't done so already. If you'd like to learn more about our little project you might also try our Ask the Devs thread (please read the thread to ensure no reposting of questions).
Beyond that, we encourage meaningful discussion relating to the project in the appropriate subforums (or, if you prefer, totally meaningless discussion in Off Topic), and for you to join us on our IRC channel #MissingStars on the Mibbit server.
Please enjoy your stay, mind the eels etc.

Hello,
I can't say for certain how I found out about Missing Stars; I honestly wish I could remember. I'm an independent games producer, and writer with tentative plans on working with a local disabilities association to develop mobile games that would aid in various facets of learning, but at the present I'm developing my own title with my university colleagues. I've lurked, followed updates, and managed a little facebook fan page (which I regrettably continue to lose track of) for a while now, but I figured it was time that I made an effort to engage everyone in the forum. It's a pleasure to meet all of you.

Re: Introduce yourselves Fans!
Warm greetings, Lain!

I'd say make yourself at home, but as a lurker you're probably pretty familiar with the setting. Feel free to contribute to conversation etc though! Please
Honourable intentions! Got any examples of games you've produced so far?Lain wrote:I'm an independent games producer, and writer with tentative plans on working with a local disabilities association to develop mobile games that would aid in various facets of learning

Thanks all, I'll attempt to coax as much stimulating conversation out of myself as I can, short of draining myself to a desiccated husk. I might jump on the IRC at some stage, is there a specific time of the week that most of you are on?
Yeah, my team's first title Inwards will be launching within the next couple of weeks. It's is a short first person psychological mystery that borders on a folk tale. Better yet, it will also be completely free. Chances are that I may be branching out into a production role on a few other projects in the coming months as well.Lain wrote:I'm an independent games producer, and writer with tentative plans on working with a local disabilities association to develop mobile games that would aid in various facets of learning

Wonderful! Do feel free to plug it in Off-Topic on release. I'll be sure to play it (assuming I remember).Lain wrote:Yeah, my team's first title Inwards will be launching within the next couple of weeks.
EDIT: Also, drop round the IRC any time. There's almost always someone online.

If anyone berates you, say I made you do it at gunpoint or something.

"Do it, tell everyone" he said with a hiss of rabid mania.
The wild look in his eye said that the six shooter he had jammed against my temple was itching for a good time, and that he'd hate to let such a fine dame down. What choice did I have? "
Something like that.

Re: Introduce yourselves Fans!
Hello everyone, I'm SwedishTurian.
I am but a simple gameinterested, nerdy student from Sweden.
I came across this project after wikiwalking through TV Tropes articles about Katawa Shoujo and saw a link to a project labeled a "spiritual successor" called "Missing Stars". I think KS is a great VN and i'm very grateful to you all for your work here. Although little has been said about the game itself I am already interested in all the caracters and their story.
Cheers to you all!

Thanks for the welcome, Sky
I'll make sure to visit the IRC sometime. Could you perhaps post a link to it? I'm not really certain how it works.
