I pretty sure Shock Cocoon was dealing with mental disorders and they are a visual novel group from /jp/.

So this is a rip off of shock cocoon and katawa shoujo?

I don't think I could read something like this, the way it is written looks stuttery and annoys me.

Shock Cocoon: Gascoyne is a horror OELVN. This is a ren'ai. We are inspired by Katawa Shoujo, we are not a "rip off". We are moving forward with the concept, but placing it in a different setting and telling it with our own style. The only commonalities between this game and KS are the themes and the genre.

Hmm, the way I see it, while it's nicely done, it's a horror VN... and treating mental disorders more as a spooky horror device than a realistically portrayed character trait. I think our approach is different enough from that.

I think that Death on the Nile and A Study in Scarlet are both fantastic mystery books, but I don't think Death on the Nile is a shameless ripoff.

And even if it "were" drawing aspects from that game, God forbid any idea anywhere on this planet be devoid of drawing inspiration from other ideas like it.

Saying things like "this is a rip off" is childish. No action or idea you have can be developed fully through your own magical brilliance(although it is a very critical element). It takes people being inspired to work and create their own ideas. Call it the catalyst, call it inspiration, but please. Don't call it a "rip off". K thanx bai.

Either OP was a troll, or s/he hasn't a very full grasp of the plots behind the three stories. On a much brighter note, Shock Cocoon looks very pleasantly eerie.

I very much enjoyed watching that... it\'s given me another VN to follow to release, and one that seems completely thematically different at that. Not a rip-off at all though lol
