Image Hosting Websites

Post by Wyges »

So yeah, there are a lot of image hosting sites, but which one is the best?

I'm looking for a image hosting website which is free, doesn't delete pictures with adult content and, well, is easy to use. Any recommendations? Maybe there even is a website with a program/software/script which allows you to upload pictures without accessing your browser, only by selecting photos from your computer?

I hope I'm not asking for something impossible, though. So, what are your opinions/suggestions/recommendations? :>

I use Noelshack personally, the biggest bad point for you is that this is written in french.
but this is free, allowed for nsfw, and quite easy to use.

Well, I have no problems with French. :D I'll check this one.

Oh by the way, a website with ability to create your profile and have your own gallery, where you can upload your pictures would be awesome too. :D

Well you could always use http://Mediafire.com ... they have this thing you can just download on your pc/mac so you can just drag and drop them on the icon and they get uploaded. Thou it is a filesharing site, so one would have to download the images...

Hmm...

http://filesmelt.com/ and http://dropbox.com are the best. Imgur is good if you just want to share something quickly without worrying about image quality.

Dropbox actually makes its own folder for all your pictures, so they're all cataloged there for you. You need to download Dropbox though.

PHotobucket still has my personal preference, though I have no clue about their policy concerning NSFW stuff...

Yeah, Photobucket doesn't allow nudity/porn/etc. in public folders. Unsure about the private settings, but I guess it would be good if you're looking for somewhere to keep a gallery. Or you could use some 'art' site like DA.

Imgur or Tinypic work the best in terms of momentarily uploading something just to show someone, though I've found Tinypic to preserve .pngs better.
