Don't draw on notebook paper if you can avoid it, especially avoid it inside a notebook.
Also, a printer/scanner is your friend because it gets better images.

I have moved on from composition paper. I was purposely using it because I like the feel it gave, like a student drawing ero pictures during class instead of listening to the teacher. I have to take all the pictures with a digital camera though.
