I like words.alabaster wrote:This is a blog post. It has words in it.
And it's kinda nice to hear that you've overcame something, but I like it more that you admitted something came up in the first place. Or, if it was well know, at least had the good mindset to inform everybody.

Agreed wholeheartedly. Honestly, I had no idea that anything was going wrong. I deeply appreciate your honesty, and can't thank you enough for talking with us about the situation.Mr Immortal wrote:I like words.alabaster wrote:This is a blog post. It has words in it.

Rest assured, I'm at least here for the long haul.

I think that it's great you're reevaluating the project and fixing what's not working. Hopefully it's not a total restart, but even if it is, that's fine too. I know with Rosae Dormientes, we just decided that our entire idea was crap, and we started from a completely blank slate. Sure it was a total erasure of a lot of work, but after we decided to start over, it was like we had the whole world to work with. Just that notion that we could go anywhere with this project, was really exciting.
So, you might have lost some work, but I can bet that the feeling of not being tied down by bad ideas is worth it.

I highly doubt this will 'crash and burn'. All good artists have blocks, but few are ok with giving up.

Rest assured, I'm at least here for the long haul. And I'm sure everyone else is too. You're always making progress. I'd be more worried if the devs dropped off the face of the forum completely.

On topic: I better not hear of group hugs and cheer shouts.

Re: Blog Post: Fall Has Fell
This is true if you're working alone, but it's much harder to subsist on that not-giving-up attitude when a team of thirty people is involved. It has to be a united effort, which this thankfully (and miraculously) is for the most part.Anxa wrote:I highly doubt this will 'crash and burn'. Heheheh! It's good to see that progress is still being made, even if it is slowly! We can all definitely appreciate what it's like to wonder if something you've put time into will amount to anything. Being an anxiety-ridden worrier in a line of family members who do just that, the post struck a note with me, especially. We can all also relate to the relief that comes with sudden progress in a problem. Here's to hoping everything turns out alright, in the end. Cheers~!
Also, for those of you who might have missed me, I know I've not been posting much lately, heheh. Not quite disappeared yet, though. Just a bit... preoccupied. With very, very pleasant life developments, I assure you!
