I totally understand... I wish they made a WC IV instead of WoW, and I still hope they make it, even if they ruined the storyline, I just hope they will ignore what they did with WoW and continue the storyline from WC III... no more duel of destiny between two heroes, just the most emblematic figures of the warcraft universe taken down by a bunch of crazy assholes who came from nowhere.
Really I find it sad.

I'll be honest, I always found the armor crafting skill as a way to show who got the biggest balls. In world of warcraft in a most particular way.kwisatz2hederach wrote:4.)Overall fun factor. Yeah, there is so much to do. Like building your own armors, sewing hats and capes, decorating houses, learning to fish. But it isn't really fun. It's just something to do before you can go out and have fun, or something else to do once you've realized a lot of the fun gameplay is just fetch quests and you've ground even that into dust.
that would be magnificent.TheLastMelody wrote:I totally understand... Re: Musings in MMORPGs
1.) I've never seen this in an MMO. (definitely have in other genres though)kwisatz2hederach wrote:-beepboopwords-
2.) You don't need to be "the chosen one" to have an immersive experience
3.) This is not the case for any MMO I have played
4.) The type of person who enjoys this genre finds the fun in a sense of accomplishment after seeing the little numbers on everything rise, and being able to defeat a hard boss after said grinding. They aren't necessarily in it for deep mechanics or exciting gameplay. The end is infinitely more important than the means to a person who really enjoys MMOs.
In other news, I think you would enjoy the game "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning"

Yeah, the size is unfortunate. It took me a day to download and two hours to dislike.

Re: Musings in MMORPGs
I gotta admit. WoW became way to easy after all these patches. Before Lich King it took months just to get to level 50, and other things like buying ammo are gone. I started playing way back in 2005 and killed my social development growing up.
<ILY> I FUCKING LOVE YOU LET'S SEX!
