This is probably the most direct out of the three reveals we've been shown so far. I strongly suspect that Father Maximilian is the side characters that Gloom stated (in the most recent Q&A) would be revealed today. Also, I think I read somewhere that there's concept art for a priest floating around. This true? Anyone know where it is? I'd also guess that Katja probably is still the depressive/suicidal character; certainly it could have changed but it still seems to fit. I'm looking forward to the rest of the posts.

Why do you suspect Father Maximillian? There are four other people mentioned in the post, and unless Katja has angry breakdowns frequently there isn't much to suggest a lot of interaction between her and the Father.brainy_kevin wrote:This is probably the most direct out of the three reveals we've been shown so far. As for priest concept art, I don't remember seeing any, but there were a few sketches of potential adult characters in the original concept thread on the KS forums.

Intriguing, to say the least. I'm just going to guess here, but it sounds like Katja has some form of PTSD or even severe OCD. No real way to tell yet.

Re: Blog Post: Untitled (3 of 6)
Oh, I was confusing two things: There are apparently two main side characters, but Gloom mentioned that one character mentioned today will play a large role in Katja's route, who presumably isn't one of the two main side characters. So yes, I'll agree that the author would be much more likely to be important in Katja's route. That said, I think Father Maximilian might be one of the main side characters: he would be an interesting authority figure to provide guidance or whatnot. But that's nothing more than speculation.

Detention note at lower right corners seems quite random. Alexandra not being any character already introduced and not having any part in the essay (written by Eleanor about her friend Katja), that Alexandra's detention note is probably just there to give a hint on Katja's route's antagonist. It doesn't say she pulled Katja's hair specifically but that's the most likely explanation to make it not totally irrelevant. That, or Alexandra pulled Eleanor's hair instead of Katja's...
Of course the "coincidental" arrangement of document is pretty much in line with the previous reveal, where a blood stained letter from Lena to her parents was presented alongside Erik's "journalism" about werewolves...

I keep going back to "and I can't speak like this at all" for some reason
Try to figure out what that means. Does it relate to her disorder or is it a bad habit to not speak politely. Maybe something else?
It always bugs me when I am not able to easily identify what something means.

As an ace attorney, that must be very frustrating, but don't worry! All such questions will seem trivial when the game is released.Zezin wrote:I keep going back to "and I can't speak like this at all" for some reason

Well, there are mental peculiarities in some people where everything is fine and dandy, spare for the fact that they'll struggle to actually speak properly. It could be that the Eleanor has something similar to where all she struggles with is getting her words out.
Or am I wrong and is that more a physical disability? I know things such as a stroke can cause that too, but I'll be the first to admit that, spare for anything I have gone through, I have no idea how the human mind works.
