Am I the only non-Otaku here?

I suppose that it should be obvious that a forum for a visual novel with an anime style would have a lot of Otakus in it, however I break that trend. While I have watched an anime or two before, I've never really watched enough to be considered an Otaku. (The only ones I watched and enjoyed would be Highschool of the Dead because zombies and that's it, and The Familiar of Zero because it's friggin' hilarious)

I also never read any manga. Except this one time when I tried to read a random one from my library, and I ended up picking a Megaman one, of all things, and it was one in the middle of the series. And it really confused me because I'm a stupid American and read it backwards at first.

Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone else here isn't a hardcore Otaku. To be honest, I'm not sure how I DID get here. Maybe I'm just that hipster.

I think I just like to watch anime. I don't have waifus. I don't have figurines or posters. My computer background is not anime themed.

If something's good, I like it. Whether it's from an English speaking part of the world or a Japanese speaking part (or any other part) doesn't really affect how likely I am to enjoy it, as much as the actual quality.

To enjoy something for no reason but its Japanese origins is to be weeaboo, and that my friends is a fate worse than death.
