I understand. I still read the wiki sometimes, but I've made a point of distancing myself from Troper "culture" as it were. Too much drama in that place, especially the forums.

In any case, the study that showed that is actually several years old. I'm not sure if Wikipedia's gotten better or worse since.

I get ya, man! Truth is, beyond finding it rather funny for a read and having interesting points (the tropes themselves, you understand) I've never been in the forums, and it's not really a "hangout" as it were.
