Official SSG 08 Counter-Strike: GO Missing Stars Skin

Based on our main menu screen comes the newest way to play CS:GO (if you actually like using the SSG 08). Give it a like or a favorite if you want to see it in the game for real.

Looks really nice, man. Is this the first game skin/mod you've made?
On another note, I wish we could use workshop items as custom mods instead of waiting for Valve to (potentially) put them in the game.

This is the first skin I've made for a Source game, although I have done texturing before.
However, the actual texture file for this thing is downright embarrassing. It works, but it isn't pretty. About the only thing in it that I would call "polished" in the skin is the alpha channel that defines durability. The moon is the last thing to chip away as the weapon finish deteriorates.

Somehow, we here at Somnova Studios now have more offical art on a gun in CS:GO than we do in our own Visual Novel.

It is a bitter truth. But, hey, at least now we know the main screen involves a crescent moon on a starry night. More than we did than...what, a year ago?

It's because they don't have any secrets and don't actually do anything Yeah, that must be it.
