Blog Post: Semantic Saturation
Re: Blog Post: Semantic Saturation
I did not expect to see a new blogpost up so quickly. The project seems to turn more "representable" and believable to new audiences and seem to take the subject seriously. A few more of these and perhaps the naysay will be much less frequent and revolve less around the "lol retardu shoujo"-argument.

Re: Blog Post: Semantic Saturation
Never underestimate the ability of the internet to ignore your own arguments. Hopefully this should reduce nay-say from reasonable rational, open-minded people. Hopefully. However, if someone's already decided to hate something, there's shit-all we can do about it. Unfortunately, we probably have quite a few of the latter type of people :/Brasse wrote:I did not expect to see a new blogpost up so quickly. Just to support Wayfrm, I will say I hate this project.

I see the same haircut with some little change (but nothing big)TheLastMelody wrote:Soo, the animation had the wrong hairstyle?imperial.standard wrote:We didn't. Annaliese is this way since the conception.TheLastMelody wrote:You have changed Annaliese's hair style
the only pic where she truly have a different hairstyle is this one (but this pic came at the beginning of the project):

I think peoples will still keep naysaying but heh, this is internet, It's not like we can stop them by putting the on/off button.

It was the same haircut. Unlike some characters who have undergone evolution, Annaliese was possibly one of the more consistent ones. What probably changed was her fringe but she always sported a side ponytail.

Marvelous. Worthington, I LOVE you new Avatar. AWESOME, pure and simple.alabaster wrote:It... it's beautiful.blackjack wrote:
Meanwhile, I completely agree with Waytfm. This excellent arguement, while a serious step in an excellent direction in regards to more understandable (if misinformed) naysay, will NOT knock out a larger part of it, I don't think. That's a damn shame, because I have loved the concept of this game nearly from the inception of it and my realization of its existence, though my means of SHOWING my appreciation was...less than appropriate.
Now, for something meaningful. I think I'm going to make a burn account on a social site I frequent, called Gaia Online, and post the idea of this game without actually naming it or referencing it in any way, and have another account posting it in a slightly different light. I wish to put Worthington's theory to the test; if I refer to this as a game dealing with female Heroines with mental DISORDERS, what will be the response to it as opposed to, say, Mental DISABILITIES. I think the results of such a test would be interesting, though I have no intention of doing this until I get some feedback from other readers here, if I ever do recieve any.
Way to go, Dev team. You fancy guys and gals go right on and keep kicking ass. We've got your back.

That's... quite an interesting test. Though, this place you wish to perform it on, what manner of Trolls lurk there? Any test like this is likely to be undermined by these vile creatures, but the better grasp one has on their presence, the better one may try and avoid their influence...jarek56 wrote:I think I'm going to make a burn account on a social site I frequent, called Gaia Online, and post the idea of this game without actually naming it or referencing it in any way, and have another account posting it in a slightly different light. I never noticed the hairband in the animation >.< that would be my bad ^_^"
On another note, Waytfm is so right, with so few words. I like few words.

They APPEAR to be few, but they're out there...most of these people, though, seem to be in middle school and high school, with a significant minority in College levels (I think). There's no telling what will happen, though I plan to try it soon.Leotrak wrote:That's... quite an interesting test. Though, this place you wish to perform it on, what manner of Trolls lurk there? Seeing as Annaliese is somehow my favourite girl, kudos for the new picture. And it's always good to hear from this project after having barely any internet for a month
