We all lack informations of respective characters. We all have - nonetheless - formed presumptions about the characters.
And with a high probability our opinions will prove false. Despite that, they are valuable to the devs. They can use them
to play with the expectations of the player and do construct and deconstruct tropes. I don't say tropes are bad.
They are tropes because they work efficiently and on a regular basis. But it can be even more satisfying to surprise the player.
So this are my presumptions so far:
My favorite choice is Lena.
She seems like a tough, independend, straight-forward girl and also hard to be friends with.
That challenge increases the value of the reward. It is more fun to crack her open and look what she is made of.
Is she deep down insecure and sensitive? Maybe she is even more wild
and tries to cover it up by mimicking the behavior of the other students.
There are some tropes I love and fear at the same time:

My second choice would be Annaliese.
She is on the other side of the scale. She seems very shy but also independent.
That too is challenging and promises a most satisfying route.
Also, at first glance, moe.

My third choice are the Holm Twins, Natasha and Natalya.
On first glance they seem to be the classic trope twins..

But there is so much more that can be done with two persons that share the same background,
heritage and past. The more they look similar, the more the differences stand out.
It also offers a lot of potential for conflict and moral dilemmas.
My fourth choice is Jeanne.
Being the french girl with the glasses and the biggest .. intellect of the cast,
people will probably see her as the classic lovable dork.

Katja and
Isolda are my least favorite choices (I still like them very much)
but Katja seem to be like a very permissive spotlight person and Isolda is the kind
and friendly, slightly shy, good girl. She does not spark my imagination like the others.
I can't wait for the first glance at act 1 or any beta that will be released.
I will probably rewrite everything I just said and I am really looking forward to it.
EDIT.:
I must say, I really like all of them. I also like Renée Baum, but I guess this is not for discussion.
