How did you guys find out about this project?

Talk about whatever you want as long as it's (even vaguely) related to MS.

You can't truly be an old timer. Not ever.
Old timer as in old guy living in his mother's basement, or old guy who specializes in a specific field?

I'm neither.

First time I hear that to be a definition of old timer....

old timer = Informal. 1. a. An elderly person.

I inferred the living in his mother's basement part :P

I found this just a few minutes ago from the KS forums.
After a months of a lot of extra therapy sessions because of the damage KS did to me. I eventually figured out what the VN did was revert 8 years of therapy.
So I decided to whine about that one the forums. (I like whining) When I was talking about my own trauma from attending a school for the mentally disabled. A guy recommended I see this.
I assume the school or whatever place this game takes place in will not be as bad as the school I attended.
I am 16 now and in Public School so I'm fine now but I am interested to see how this looks when it is finished.

Welcome, Zezin, and pull up the chair. We've got jackets, refreshments, and plenty of "we've been there". :D Good to see a new member, and make yourself at home. The people, fans, and developers here and a good, friendly bunch.

I'm not sure how to tell you this, but I'm pretty sure Missing Stars itself will involve a fair bit of reading :P

Well Zezin, the post I linked you to is directly answering your question/statement.

Well if it's a book, visual novel, online manga. That's different but walls of text bother me. Besides I read it and... I doesn't answer my question.
Will the school be as demeaning, chaotic, and overall miserable as mine was?

Maybe not miserable, but the others words may be pretty accurate.

Great... seeing a chaotic school I expected. Demeaning oh god the memories of being treated like a child, like a useless scrap of what was supposed to be a human being. If that's going to be the case this VN will be hard for me.

I wasn't under the impression this VN wasn't going to really be that dark.

I guess I could be wrong though.

I don't think it'll be THAT dark.
I just meant that even though there is supposed to be order, there will still be chaos waiting in the shadows.
As they said, don't expect to see an idealistic school, this is meant to be realistic.
So there will be dark sides, like always.

I'm just worried about having to relive my own personal memories from the special school I attended.
They weren't all bad, I was actually very popular there (or at least what counted as popularity). But I REALLY did not like being treated like a kid. Or when the Salvation army would visit and we'd all get those looks from them. I HATED that so much.
I still glare at members of the salvation army because of that.
EDIT: Now that I thought about that for a few minutes it's not entirely fair that I hold it against them.

Played little kiddie games with us. But they would look at us and speak with us as if we weren't even sure what our names were.
