Adult Content?

Talk about whatever you want as long as it's (even vaguely) related to MS.

Agreed. Its not so simple however: I've already the kind of backlog of unread books that could bury Seymour Skinner alive. Additionally, although I've a Windows PC due to space constraints I mostly work from an old laptop, and its a Macbook, so compatibility is an additional complication.

I have started adopting GTD and Behance's Action Method to get my act together but I'm really hesitant to start adding yet another new hobby on top right now, though I may take a closer look at whats there and decide "screw it, I'll scrap these ten things and add one VN / KN."

OH! Actually I just remembered: I tell a lie. I have played a second VN: Analogue, a Hate Story. It made an impression but... its darker than black tone isn't something I'm eager to revisit so soon; that said I regularly listen to the soundtrack.

I thought about trying Analogue once, but I saw so many others I hadn't read at the time, and now, well I dunno why, still not read it...

What is GTD and Behance's Action Method?

They're productivity related "systems" I suppose you could call them.

GTD stands for "Getting Things Done", one of the books written by a Paul Allen who worked for years as a consultant helping over-worked business execs and managers get organised and built quite a reputation for himself. Its focused on personal and team projects for business and office work in particular but a lot of the advice can be applied universally if you're the kind of person who is always trying to "work smarter, not harder".

Action Method is similar, but from the Behance website founder - I think his name is Scott Belsky - whose background was more focused on creative professionals (think designers and writers or all sorts, everyone from screenwriters to ad men to graphic designers and artists). Most of what I know about the Action Method is explained in a book by Belsky called Making Ideas Happen. The related online tools and stuff I've not really used yet.

I'd highly recommend reading Making Ideas Happen, its very practical and very helpful (especially if like me you've a ton of stuff you'd like to do that's left hanging - unread books, unplayed games, projects half finished); I think GTD is more focused for people who work in an industry I don't.

There's good Wikipedia articles on a lot of this but they're no substitutes for reading the books in my opinion.

Can you shorten that into something less text heavy please? It hurts my eyes.

Do not try to make sense out of my logic. It will only do harm to your mind.

YES WE CAN!

And now we do:
Basically it is all about books about psychological tricks you can use on yourself to get things done.

Finally, something that I am immune to. Got nothing left of my "mind" to harm...
