I found out through word of mouth via IRL friends. I thought I'd take a look. I'm a "proto-psychologist" (finishing my bachelor's this semester, getting applications together for graduate programs in clinical psychology), so it sounded interesting. I know the dev team has plenty of writers, but I suppose I thought I could offer since I have some amount of expertise in the area of mental disorders and their diagnosis & treatment... if anyone wanted it.

And I'm here to have fun. Fun is good.

Found the thread on Katawa Shoujo forum, didn't actually think anything was gonna be done until I clicked on the link to this forum that Mike Inel posted. I'm now quite interested in how this will turn out, especially since i'm studying psychology at the moment haha.

I saw a few posts on this on the KS forums after I finished the game. I looked at it, read some stuff and thought, "Huh, pretty neat idea. I'd play." and then pretty much forgot about it. And then tonight I saw a post on Reddit, "Mentaru Shoujo has begun to release character profiles! Opinions?" and I thought, mentaru sorta sounds like mental, and shouju like Katawa Shouju, and decided to check out if this was what I thought it was. This sounds like it has a large amount of potential. I don't really many talents that could help out greatly. I dabble in music production, but truthfully I suck at it. One thing though, if you ever needed is an editor for writing or whatever. I can't write at all, but I've spent a lot of my time reading, and I love to edit other's writing. If you ever need an editor, look no further. I hope to stay and hang around this forum, so probs see some of you later.

Checked the stats for my blog, saw a few click-throughs from this site to a post I made about KS (though the originating post itself is admin-only so I couldn't read it). This project sounds interesting! I'm really enjoying KS and was wondering if there would ever be a related game for mental issues, since that's more my personal experience.
