I went with 5 Centimeters Per Second. I wanted it to be something she'd NEVER encountered before, and I found lots of good reviews of it. TvTropes, my GO TO people for spoiling something ahead of time, was quite positive in its portrayal of it. I understand that TvTropes isn't a review service, but it's a useful tool for telling whether or not I'll throw something out the door in disgust.
