That was the main character getting on with Isolda's eel. She's just under the MC, so we can't see her. I'd laugh if they released a crayon drawing of something. Just to show us something "official"

on a more serious note, are we to take it that Isolda and MC (whoEVER he is) are now a...canon couple? Interesting indeed. Or is just merely the running gag?

As far as I know, it's only a running gag. For now. It's all about "Take the eels,Isolda, take them hard!". Check THIS out for a complete explanation.
